A well-made and durable traditional drawstring purse still worn by women in rural Nepal. The strings work in coordination, allowing you to close and open the Surke-Thali by pulling on each set. Inside fabric dividers helpfully separate your money, cards, notes etc.

Hand-made by Jagar and Suku with whichever fabrics available at the time, each item is a unique expression of their skills handed down for generations. Therefore your Surke-Thali style may differ slightly from the Surke-Thalis in the photographs.
