On Thursday 25 February, NERF held 'A Night for Nepal' in St. Albans. This fundraising dinner party was very kindly hosted in the beautiful home of a generous local family. The Trustees shared with attendees; stories, photos and exhibitions explaining the work they have been doing since the earthquake in Nepal and what we hope to achieve in the future. A delicious spread of traditional Nepali food was also put on by the hosts (and disappeared in a matter of minutes!).
NERF would like to express our deepest thanks to our gracious hosts and all the guests for their time, consideration and generosity. We successfully fundraised nearly £1000 on the evening - money that will be going directly to help the people of Nepal, particularly focusing on children and education projects, as they continue the struggle to rebuild their lives following the devastating earthquake now nearly a year past.
We are truly indebted to the wonderful city of St Albans for your kind support.
