We are very excited to announce that, following the success of 2016's inaugural NERF trip, we are leading another sponsored trek through Nepal in November 2017. We will be returning to remote villages in the Sindhupalchowk region of Nepal - one of the areas worst hit by the huge earthquake in 2015 - to provide hands-on rebuilding assistance, funded through sponsorship raised by the trekkers, followed by a 5 day trek through the foothills of the Himalayas.
"The most exciting, inspiring and humbling adventure I have been on"
"This trip has gone straight to the top of my best travelling experiences"
"An amazing personal experience with the added bonus of giving help where it is so badly needed"
Feedback from individuals on the 2016 trip.

NERF is very excited to announce a super special comedy night this July, featuring a stellar line-up of top comedians.
All funds secured through ticket sales on the evening will go towards our projects with Mooncup Ltd - bringing women and girls in Nepal an eco-friendly and safe option during their menstrual cycles. To read more about our work with Mooncups in Nepal, see our project page.

On Thursday May 19th 2016 at Nolia's Gallery in South London, we will be holding an auction of exclusive and unique items and experiences, from which all funds raised will go directly to our work with Blind Youth Association Nepal. BYAN is a national self-help NGO that aims to promote a dignified life for blind and partially sighted youths in Nepal. The primary focus of our partnership is the assistance and education of blind people (and those around them) with regard to earthquakes.
As our wonderful and widening supporter base now spreads far beyond our London base, we are listing the items available in the auction on this page before the live auction date. Please browse all that is on offer, and do get in touch with us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like to place any pre-bids on anything before the live auction. On the day, the 'winner' of each item will be whoever has placed the highest bid - anytime from now until the auction is officially closed on the evening of 19th May.
We will also have a facility for live remote bidding via mobile phone on the night - again, please get in touch if you would like further details on this or anything else relating to the event. As always, deep thanks for your kindness & support.
Nepal Earthquake Recovery Fund and Doll Duncan present an afternoon of live music to garner your support for NERF's upcoming projects focused on the rural and remote areas of Nepal that have been so badly affected by the recent earthquakes.
In addition we will be showing our support for the KPH, the grassroots music community and the survival of small venues and pubs. Simply turn up and give a little of your time and pennies.

Nepal Earthquake Recovery Fund warmly invite you to a special evening dedicated to Nepal, kindly hosted by the Evans family in Park Street.
Come along on the evening of Thursday 25 February to learn about this wonderful country where the perseverance and wonder of the beautiful snow-swept mountainscapes is only surpassed by the resolve and welcoming character of the local people.
Join us to enjoy traditional Nepali cuisine, hear stories of typical Nepali kindness and selflessness, and learn more about the work Nepal Earthquake Recovery Fund has been doing to help the local people, particularly young children, as they rebuild their lives following the devastating earthquake of 25 April 2015.
Please RSVP by Friday 19 February to confirm attendance.
We are hugely excited to announce a very special evening on Monday 9th November at the Core @ Nolias Gallery in Southwark.
One of our first redevelopment projects on the ground in Nepal involved creative art lessons for children affected by the earthquakes. The results are beautiful, expressive and endearing self-portraits, and we have 30 original pieces to be exhibited for auction.
The money raised will go back into redevelopment work in the same region. Three of NERF's four trustees will be visiting Nepal again in mid-November to monitor our ongoing projects and look for new opportunities in which to invest these additional funds.
The exhibition will open at 7pm with a free drinks reception until 7.30pm, after which a bar will be running with a voluntary contribution per drink. Save the date and we hope to see you all there!
The child artists are all from the Sindhupalchowk District of Nepal, where 97% of schools were destroyed in the recent earthquakes. All the children created two artworks - one to keep for themselves and another to be auctioned.
In addition to the artwork there is a photograph of the child who created each piece, along with their name, age and other personal details in order to ensure the longevity of the connection between the artist and the art. The exhibition will also feature a display of original photography from post-earthquake Nepal.
Geraint, Alba, David and James are very proud to be launching their charity - Nepal Earthquake Recovery Fund - www.nerfinternational.org (Charity No. 1162850)
To celebrate this occasion we are holding a launch party at The Macbeth Of Hoxton on Wednesday 19 August and we would love for you all to join us.
We'll explain the intentions and long-term visions of NERF with the aid of photos and videos from our man-on-the-ground, David. There'll be live music from Melodi Hadebe (https://soundcloud.com/melodi-hadebe) & John McIvor (https://soundcloud.com/johnmcivor) and a well-stocked bar.
We'd love to see as many of you there as possible - please come along and support.
PS. If you can't make it, you can still help out by donating through our website and, of course, supporting through the standard social media channels:
